1. Internal situation
Character : We always remain an informal Group.
Our work, in cooperation with the United Bible Societies
since 18 years, is aiming at diffusing widely the Bible.

Personnel : Our Group consists of 24 members: 15 members are working regularly, 9 members are temporarily pausing (7 are involved in the duties in the community and the Archdiocese of HoChiMinh City [for direction, formation, teaching, pastoral work], 1 sick, 1 busy in writing the doctor’s thesis on the subject of the biblical theology).

2. Activities
Actual work:
o “God’s Word for all people” (New Testament) has been published: biblical text of The Liturgy of The Hours Group ; pastoral commentaries of Bernard Hurault and Louis Hurault.
O “God’s Word for all people” (Old and New Testament-Pastoral Bible) has also been published later, at the end of 2006.
O We have published the second version of the New Testament more adapted to the needs of study.
O We have also published the Pentateuch (second version), and are revising the other books of the Old Testament.
Formation
Four members of the Group are teaching the Holy Scriptures in the Intercongregational Institute “Paul Nguyen Van Binh” for the religious seminarians, 1 in the Interdiocesan Major Seminary of Hue, 4 in the Dominican Studies Center, 4 in the Intercongregational Institute of St. Thomas for Dominican sisters and other sisters, 2 in the Redemptorist Studendate, 3 in the Franciscan Seminary, 1 in the Salesian Institute, 1 in the Intercongregational Institute of St. John Baptist de la Salle and 1 in the sessions of “Faith and Culture” and of Theological Courses for lay people, 1 member is helping the seminarians and sisters to learn the biblical languages.
Animation
The weekly celebration of the God’s Word and Eucharistic Adoration are organized every Wednesday in the Redemptorist Parish by one member collaborating with the Biblical Apostolate Group.
