FABC-CBF Asia Oceania Bible Congress

Greetings of Peace and Joy!

The FABC’s Office of Evangelization released the good news that the Bishops’ Institute for the Biblical Apostolate  – BIBA III and  the 5th Asia Oceania Bible Congress is scheduled on November 4-8, 2010 as the Apostolic Exhortation on the Word of God is expected to be released any time soon. As of this web-network-release here are the following general information at a glance for the guidance of the concerned members and officers:

Word Event: BIBA III and the 5TH ASIA-OCEANIA BIBLE CONGRESS

Theme: “Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church”

Dates: November 4-8, 2010

Arrivals: November 3 (any time) or 4th early morning

Venue: The Redemptorist Center of Pattaya, Thailand

Opening Eucharist: 8:30 am of November 4

Inaugural Address: His Excellency Most. Rev. Nikola Eterovic the General Secretary of the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops (Vatican)

General Schedule: November 4th, 5th and 6th will be dedicated to the study of the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation; evening of 6th to 8th in the afternoon will be for the CBF members’ business meeting in preparation for the EPA.

Details of the Word Event will be published soon.

We will pray that all things will go well and look forward to an exciting biblical congress for our Asia-Oceania, paving further way for concrete planning / consolidation of “regionalization” and our eventual regional secretariat set-up. God bless us all and our ministry of the Word!
